United Way Day of Caring 2016
A large group of more than 125 volunteers gathered together on Saturday morning,
November 5, to participate in the annual “Day of Caring” sponsored by United Way of
Franklin County. The volunteers completed 30 different projects throughout the
community targeting senior citizens and physically challenged individuals.
Workers washed windows, cleaned porches, raked lots of leaves, pulled weeds and more!
This annual United Way project was started several years ago in an effort to provide a
helping hand throughout the community.
United Way of Franklin County would like to thank the many volunteers who gave of their
time in order for Day of Caring 2016 to be a success!
